ADA Compliant Swing Gate for Transportation Industry

  Requirements - The gate must

  • Be bi-directional
  • Have a smooth continuous​ surface from 
    two inches to 27 inches above floor
  • Unlock using a ticket reader
  • Open in an emergency
  • ​Be vandal resistant


  Solution:
       A door body or clear panel style swing gate with a bi-directional Trap- lock™ linked to a ticket reader.


  Description:
      ADA compliant Swing Gate with built in closer in either a stainless  steel door body style or tubular frame

      with clear poly-carbonate panels. The gate has a pass width of 32 inches. The bi-directional Trap-lock™

      will unlock the gate when a signal is received from the  ticket reader. The gate re-locks as soon as it is

      closed preventing fare evasion. In case of a loss of power the gate immediately unlocks allowing free

      egress.

Authorized Personnel Only Emergency Exit Gate for Train Platform

  Requirements - The gate must:

  • Self close after use.
  • Not blow open due to wind from passing trains.
  • Allow for emergency evacuation of train passengers from tunnels


  Solution:
      A stainless steel picket style swing gate with a mechanical latch.


​  Description:
      A stainless steel picket style gate with built in closer. The gate would be single direction opening toward

      train platform and away from tracks for emergency egress. The gate would feature a simple mechanical

      latch and an "authorized personnel only" sign (not shown in photo).

Security Gate for College Dormitory

  Requirements - The gate must:

  • Be ADA compliant
  • Meet fire codes for emergency exit
  • Prevent unauthorized entry


  Solution:
      A door body or clear panel style swing gate with a Trap-lock™ combined with an ​automatic door mat for

      exiting.


​  Description:
     ADA compliant Swing Gate with built in closer in either a stainless  steel door body style or tubular frame

     with clear poly-carbonate panels.  Security is achieved with a patent pending TL909 Bi-directional  Trap-

     lock. Emergency exit requirements are met by using an automatic  switch mat on the secure side of the

     gate. For authorized  entry, a security agent can release gate with a remote switch or access  can be  

     controlled using an optional card reader.
